ECW TV Reax #1: "The trashing of Matt Striker by Burke left me ...

A.A. Norman of Tulsa, Okla. (9.5) Best match: Originals vs. each other. Worst match: Extreme expose, if that counts. "My name is ermandoooooooooooo... oh shoot." From that moment on, you know the show would be perfect. First, you have Lashley get the token title rematch in an amusing way involving the steel steps. Next, you have CM Punk rattle the New Breed a little more, led by Elijah's on-camera expertise. A few more clips of ECW Originals badmouthing the boss and now we're at the main event... extreme rules! How disappointing a few of those odds and ends around the ring didn't make it into the match. However, it looked like all the competitors had fun tonight, and that seemed to be missing from previous broadcasts. This would be a 10, but they just had to have Extreme Expose, didn't they? Here's hoping next week's McMahon vs.

ECW Preview; WWE 24/7 Deal w/ Charter Comm; Stacy Keibler Engaged ...

When ECW on Sci Fi went off the air last week, Rob Van Dam had earned a match against ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon. This week, however, the Chairman has used his power to change things up a bit.

WWE.com has learned that the Chairman and company plan on coming to ECW this week to once and for all kill the original spirit of ECW Rob Van Dam. Apparently, Mr. McMahon had no intentions of ever going one-on-one with RVD.

I knew this was going to happen, RVD told WWE.com after hearing the news. I knew that Mr. McMahon wasnt going to go one-on-one with me. If Shane and Umaga are going to be there, then Im challenging all three of them.

And so it will now be RVD against the ECW World Champion, Shane McMahon & Umaga. Will the Chairman, his son and the Samoan Bulldozer succeed in destroying the spirit of ECW?

Also, The New Breed appeared to implode last week when Kevin Thorn quit following a loss to CM Punk and the unknown Major Brothers upset Marcus Cor Von & Matt Striker.
