| MICKE JAMES VS. MELINA FOR THE WWE WOMEN'S TITLE
Background: The night after Wrestlemania Melian hit the ring to petition to be in Timbaland's video. Mickie James ran out and speared her. She wanted her title back now that the feud with Ashley was over for the Women's Champion. On April 9h Mickie teamed with Candice Michelle to defeat Melina and Victoria. On April 16th Torrie Wilson won a diva fashion show in Italy. Melina attacked her afterwards with James making the save. On April 23rd, Melina quickly defeated Mickie James. Match Up: Melina and Mickie have matched up several times with Melina usually pulling the win out of the bag. While James might dominate Melina on paper, the current champion seems to own the woman she took the belt off of. James needs to realize this and hopefully change her luck by altering her game plan. Offensive brawling would be a good start with a follow up of power wrestling to really surprise.

1. Mark Bright and to a lesser extent Gavin Peacock. What was with the B Team on Match of the Day last week? The utterly clueless duo rambled incoherently between match highlights to the point where I muted the TV. Although that was after Ray Stubbs got in a sweet burn on Bright for stumbling all over himself, his words and his point. The latter of which never showed up. Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson and Alan Shearer; no problem. These guys; give me a break. Because it's a week ago I don't remember specifics that annoyed me just that they did. I remember shouting "bullshit" at Gavin Peacock at least once. Usually football gets me quite worked up but I like pundits with a sense of competence. It may then get exposed as they continue to talk but appearing competent to begin with helps a great deal.

When fans sh** on certain WWE stars for their piss poor in ring work, WWE changes the audio. WWE pipes in cheers and jeers when their feel a wrestler isn't getting the proper fan response. When a match is sloppy, well because the performer is sloppy and careless, WWE edits matches. Wrestling is and art that only a select few master. But in the wonderful world of WWE, their distortion of poor work magically turns into a Van Go. Now you can add Photoshop to WWE's arsenal. This morning my email inbox is treated to these pics. The first pic is a screenshot from last Monday's Raw. It shows a 'caring' John Cena coming to the aid of Sean Michaels after a beatdown.
