| Camp gets a new start after fire
(WAPELLO COUNTY) Last year a fire in the Heartland destroyed buildings at Forest Lake Camp where many children spend their summers. Now the camp is getting a new start as crews begin rebuilding what was lost. It was a chilly day in February of '06 as the camp's old dining hall and lodge went up into flames after a wood stove in the dining hall ignited the fire. At the time, camp director, Jim Ross watched it all burn down. "By the time I got down her, the building was completely engulfed...the building was just gone," Ross said in February of 2006. Returning to the scene, old burnt bricks and small pieces of glass are all that are left of the buildings that once sat on the empty foundation, but those small piles of rubble didn't stop camp directors from moving on and looking towards the future.
Jim Ross Comments On Chris Masters, JBL, More
Jim Ross has posted a new blog over on his website at www.jrsbarbq.com. In this edition, he speaks on Chris Maters in ring performance, if JBL will ever wrestle and more. Here are a few excerpts On Chris Masters I think Chris Masters is showing significant improvement in his in ring work. He is only 24 years old, I believe, and one would think would have a great career ahead of him if he continues to study his craft and work hard. Are you warming up to Alabama Coach Nick Saban yet? I hope he does well, because I have great respect for the Crimson Tide and the late Bear Bryant, but Saban seems to really like himself.. a lot. I guess if he wins a National Title for the Tide that wont matter. On JBL and Wrestling I think JBL has plenty of matches left in him and I know he thinks that as well.
WWE) JR Speaks on Savage,Mysterio,Brand Extensions and More
Jim Ross has updated his blog at www.jrsbarbq.com. In this edition, he denies the recent report of that that Randy Savage comments are barred from his website. He also talks about the brand extensions and Rey Mysterio. Here are a few things he had to say: On Randy Savage Comments: I was also informed of something someone wrote on a website about us barring Randy Savage comments from this site, especially as it relates to the WWE Hall of Fame, which was totally false and completely fabricated. These comments were written as if I had written them myself. I realize many folks do the best they can to run honest websites and tell the truth as best they know it, but there are many wrestling sites that exist that are simply loaded with premium, horse manure. Not all, but some. On The Brand Extensions: Clint- Will the WWE Brand Separation ever go away? My guess would be no as the WWE seems committed into building its 3 brands, which wont happen over night by the way, and has its challenges especially when injuries begin taking their toll.

Jim Ross posted the following new blog on his website, jrbarbq.com: I hope every one is having a great week. Things are well here in rainy Oklahoma and we have been fortunate to not have had any tornado issues in Norman unlike some of our neighbors to the west and north of us. The construction at our restaurant is coming along really well and it looks like we will be open for business on June 27 as it now stands.
