| MICKE JAMES VS. MELINA FOR THE WWE WOMEN'S TITLE
Background: The night after Wrestlemania Melian hit the ring to petition to be in Timbaland's video. Mickie James ran out and speared her. She wanted her title back now that the feud with Ashley was over for the Women's Champion. On April 9h Mickie teamed with Candice Michelle to defeat Melina and Victoria. On April 16th Torrie Wilson won a diva fashion show in Italy. Melina attacked her afterwards with James making the save. On April 23rd, Melina quickly defeated Mickie James. Match Up: Melina and Mickie have matched up several times with Melina usually pulling the win out of the bag. While James might dominate Melina on paper, the current champion seems to own the woman she took the belt off of. James needs to realize this and hopefully change her luck by altering her game plan. Offensive brawling would be a good start with a follow up of power wrestling to really surprise.
WWE Backlash PPV Results 4/29/2007 (Atlanta, GA)
Backlash opened with a video package about Wrestlemania and the events that have followed leading to the three main events tonight. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomed us to the show, then tossed it over to Joey Styles & Tazz, who then tossed it to Michael Cole & JBL. I guess we won't have to worry about any announcers losing their voices tonight. World Tag Team Championship Match Referee: Jack Doan Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch vs. The Hardys (c) Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler called this one. Ross put over that Murdoch was trained by Harley Race and Cade was trained by Shawn Michaels. I believe that's the first time that has ever been mentioned on WWE television. The start: Matt started off with Cade, with Cade backing Matt into a corner and breaking clean.
The MeeThinks Saturday Spectacular 05.05.07
Hey everybody! Once again, MeeThinks is back in action with a brand new dose of IWC optimism to wrap your 'rasslin week up on a high note. Sadly there's no time for reader mail this go-round, as I've been managing to get by without a PC for half of the week due to the fact that I'm moving across town (long story short -- Mee and the lady friend got a place together, and my entire life is more or less packed in boxes), but I'll do what I can to get everything unpacked this weekend so that we can include some of YourThinks for next wee's column, if possible. In the mean time... On tap this week: WrestleMania Shatters PPV Records New Breed on Speed Orton Gets Off Easy Undertaker Not So Much Bobby Lashley's Banged Up Ring Of Honor Inks a PPV Deal TNA, In Turn, Bails on ROH As you can see, not a LOT of stories -- but a number of pretty huge ones this week, so let's get to it, eh? .

Linda's Thoughts - Raw - A Little Bit Of An Improvement
Before I talk about last night's Raw, I wanted to let you know that my brother in law passed away last Thursday. It's been a very hectic and very sad last few weeks, but at least now he's at rest. Thank you all for your prayers, every time I read one it made it that much easier for me to handle what was going on. Now on to more pleasant topics like what we got with Raw last night. Without a doubt it was a much better show than last week's. But even though there was an improvement it did nothing to make me change my mind about ordering Judgment Day. But honestly it would have taken a few really HOT feuds to get me to watch the pay per view. The two main feuds on Raw really do nothing for me. And of course I'm talking about Khali vs. Cena and that unfortunate rematch with the McMahon's and Umaga vs.
