When ECW on Sci Fi went off the air last week, Rob Van Dam had earned a match against ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon. This week, however, the Chairman has used his power to change things up a bit. WWE.com has learned that the Chairman and company plan on coming to ECW this week to once and for all kill the original spirit of ECW Rob Van Dam. Apparently, Mr. McMahon had no intentions of ever going one-on-one with RVD. I knew this was going to happen, RVD told WWE.com after hearing the news. I knew that Mr. McMahon wasnt going to go one-on-one with me. If Shane and Umaga are going to be there, then Im challenging all three of them. And so it will now be RVD against the ECW World Champion, Shane McMahon & Umaga. Will the Chairman, his son and the Samoan Bulldozer succeed in destroying the spirit of ECW? Also, The New Breed appeared to implode last week when Kevin Thorn quit following a loss to CM Punk and the unknown Major Brothers upset Marcus Cor Von & Matt Striker.

He also talks about the brand extensions and Rey Mysterio. Here are a few things he had to say: On Randy Savage Comments: I was also informed of something someone wrote on a website about us barring Randy Savage comments from this site, especially as it relates to the WWE Hall of Fame, which was totally false and completely fabricated. These comments were written as if I had written them myself. I realize many folks do the best they can to run honest websites and tell the truth as best they know it, but there are many wrestling sites that exist that are simply loaded with premium, horse manure. Not all, but some. On The Brand Extensions: Clint- Will the WWE Brand Separation ever go away? My guess would be no as the WWE seems committed into building its 3 brands, which wont happen over night by the way, and has its challenges especially when injuries begin taking their toll.

The next WWE 'Saturday Night's Main Event' is scheduled to air on June 02, with the next one to air on August 18th according to NBC affiliates.

Promenade opens Thursday
BOLINGBROOK -- Today is the last day of a community carnival staged by Macy's for its grand opening festivities. But the carnival atmosphere returns again Thursday -- grand opening day for the rest of The Promenade Bolingbrook. More than 50 stores and restaurants open on a single day with activities planned to stir up consumer excitement. The official ribbon-cutting for The Promenade Bolingbrook is 10 a.m. Thursday. Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar will cut the ribbon, and the stores will open. The big event of the day will be the One Red Hot Night fundraiser for the Children's Emergency Room at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. The event begins at 6 p.m. in Macy's. Actress Laura Innes, who plays Dr. Kerry Weaver on TV show ER, is scheduled to be there along with Stacy Keibler, featured in the TV show "Dancing with the Stars" and "What About Brian." Here is a sampling of some of the retail-related events scheduled for this week.
Stacy's Show Cancelled, SD Stays Put, Carlito's Accent
ABC didn't pick up What About Brian for the upcoming fall season, the TV series Stacy Keibler made several appearances on earlier in the year. The network felt the ratings didn't warrant a third year for the series.
The CW has announced their fall schedule. As expected, Smackdown will remain on Friday nights at 8 p.m.
Carlito, who's notorious for always trying to stay in character even when he's doing media interviews, dropped his "Carlito accent" for his family's segment in the upcoming "The Most Powerful Families In Wrestling" DVD.
