| Vito’s Pizza Place & Italian Ristorante
Located on the southeast corner of Lindsay Road at McKellips, near Hohokam Park in Mesa, Vito's is a great place to go after a Chicago Cubs home spring training game. It's also a good place to go anytime you want a solid Italian meal. Their pizza is authentic Chicago-style thin crust, and their sauces taste deliciously homemade. You may even have a chance to meet Vito himself. His family sailed to America from Italy on the Andrea Doria in the 1950s and settled in Chicago. Vito later moved to Mesa and opened his East Valley pizzeria more than 20 years ago. Vito and his staff are friendly, accommodating, and clearly aim to please. The minestrone soup started off our meal right. It had that homemade flavor, not too salty, and was loaded with vegetables and beans.

4/27 Smackdown Hitlist: Hot Start, Deuce & Domino, MVP, Main Event
Hot Start: Smackdown got off to a great start with the unexpected brawl between Batista and Mr. Kennedy. What worked well about it was that the announcers seemed genuinely surprised by what happened. It is a little of that "Anything Can Happen" attitude which is usually a bonus to any wrestling program. When the brawl continued, Finlay made a predictable appearance to help out Kennedy. Then Undertaker had a nice moment appearing and disappearing in the ring. That worked well because Undertaker was able to startle the heels into leaving Batista alone while at the same time playing his own head games with his opponent at Backlash. The only thing that didn't work about the opening was that it foreshadowed another Undertaker & Batista vs. Kennedy & Finlay match which I wasn't looking forward to.
Nadal Extends Clay Streak Against Last to Beat Him

That Was Then 5.18.07: Counting Ric Flair's World Title Reigns
How many times has Ric Flair REALLY been World Champion? WWE says 16, but is that really right? I say no, but the actual number is more a matter of point of view. This week, I look at everything that can be considered a title win for Flair and try to figure it out for myself. Besides being the old guy that gets his ass kicked and humiliated on Monday Night Raw every week, Ric Flair has a legacy with older fans as a 16-time World Champion, a feat which was mostly accomplished in the days before titles would change hands every few months or even weeks. But was it really 16? He could be said to have won several more than that depending on your point of view, and this week I'm going to talk about the titles with which he is and is not credited, and try to come up with my own personal stance on exactly how many he has, and maybe talk a little bit about the stories behind each of the title reigns.
