WWE Diva Search Set To Return

The WWE Divas Brand is currently up to new and exciting things - The Divas are frequently appearing in music videos (see the new Timbaland video), TV shows (Smallville, Extreme Makeover, Home Edition, and more...), doing tributes to the troops (just went to Iraq). We are building all kinds of cutting edge, new opportunities to help build the Divas brand. No wrestling experience or aspirations to wrestle necessary. One lucky woman will be awarded a one year WWE talent contract worth $250,000. In addition, WWE is always looking for a variety of women to fill other positions on our 3 shows, Monday Night 'Raw', Friday Night 'Smackdown' and ECW. WWE is not just looking for one girl. We're looking for several! A WWE DIVA is a fun, fearless girl who is beautiful, physically fit, athletic, comfortable with her body, has a sparkling personality and a great presence about her.

So much for that whole angle on Smackdown that Jillian Hall "injured" her so she couldn't be in the video. You can read the article by clicking here.

WWE Raw Reax #1: "A pleasant surprise was The Heartbreak Kid ...

Herman Segle of Akron, Ohio (2.0): Best Match: Hardys vs. WGTT. Worst Match: Take your pick. Even WWE can put together something that strikes a nerve, and this episode of Raw did just that. I understand the decision to have Mr. Kennedy drop the Money in the Bank briefcase on Raw due to his injury, but I hope this does not mean we get to see more of the most annoying feud in recent company history (Edge vs. Cena). Vince still walking around with the ECW Title has outlived its shelf life. The Divas tag match was one of the better matches involving the four participants, but it does not say too much. The Great Khali being pushed towards main eventing is enough to induce vomiting. Cryme Tyme's promo was borderline stereotyping, much like their gimmick. Carlito's promo was useless. The really big sore spot was the direction they are going with Randy Orton.

Vince Changes Divas Appearance, Former Diva Suing WWE

- As a part of the WWE and Vince McMahon's on going plan to attract more mainstream advertisers, WWE management are introducing a new policy for the WWE Divas, mainly the RAW and SmackDown brand girls, in an attempt to end the Diva stereotypes we're used to.

It looks as if the WWE are trying to present the women as being more professional and classy. Less revealing outfits are being made available to wear on TV and new stylists and trainers have been hired to help the Divas with their appearances.

It's not known yet if the changes will effect the ECW brand Divas, as the ECW program appeals to a different advertising market.

- If you remember, WWE released ECW/WWE Diva Dawn Marie back in 2004 while she was pregnant, which is a very bad business practice in general.
